The candidate should have knowledge about various Statutory Compliance, Acts and Labour Laws, Factories act, S&E act, LWF, ESIC ,PF, Minimum Wages, Maternity Benefit Act. etc.
The major job responsibilities would be :
Ensure timely calculation, preparation, and filing of statutory returns related to PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, TDS, and other labor laws.
Maintain up-to-date compliance calendars for all clients and ensure no deadlines are missed.
Prepare challans, returns, registers, and ensure proper documentation as per law.
Handle inspections, audits, and queries from statutory authorities.
Keep updated with amendments in labor laws and payroll-related legislations and implement changes accordingly.
Assist in drafting and updating compliance MIS reports for management and clients.
Coordinate with payroll and HR teams for smooth integration of statutory deductions.
Maintain accurate compliance records and support in internal/external audits.
Ensure proper communication and resolution of compliance queries raised by clients.
