Job Summary

The HR Business Partner role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement throughout the business.
In this role, you will:
Promote the HR Business Partner strategy in the company and support the changes in culture required to transform the HR team as well as the business. Act as the single point of HR contact for employees and managers in the assigned business unit. Promote the Supports the delivery of HR processes and promote efficiency and productivity gains in all processes. Cross functionally manage HR projects as related to the strategy of the business unit and its projects. Support discussion and transfers best practices from different business units in the organization. Share responsibility for attaining the functional goals and setting the targets of the business unit that are aligned with the overall business strategy. This role is a blended business partner and generalist role.

Job Responsibilities


Successful candidates will demonstrate:


  • The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company
  • A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
  • Experience-based knowledge of India labor laws and business acumen to guide assigned projects in setting and obtaining operational goals
  • Functioning as the Employee Relations Specialist for the assigned projects and engages subject matter experts when need to assist the project achieve its goals.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform Generalist duties as well as Business Partner duties, including assisting in some administrative activities where needed
  • Assisting with corporate HR initiatives such as benefits programs, compensation, training, performance review and merit increase processes and ensure business needs are met as they relate to such programs.
  • Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment
  • Coaching and mentoring at management level as well as the employee level
  • Success in driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs
  • The ability to understand the career drivers in the teams that he/she supports and assist in the providing development and rotational opportunities.
  • Keeping an 'ear to ground' and develop programs to support what the business and employees need
  • Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
  • Flexibility, fantastic communication skills and a great amount of drive
  • The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves"

Qualifications & Job Skills


  • Bachelor"s degree in Business, HR or other related field.
  • Minimum of 1 - 3 years of direct Human Resources Business Partner experience.
  • Must be willing to work hours that support the US EST business hours
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of benefit plans and related laws
  • Knowledge of management practices
  • Solid business acumen
  • Public speaking capabilities helpful
  • Good problem resolution skills
  • Excellent ability to handle conflict
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws
  • Attendance and schedule adherence are requirements of this position
