About the Role



We are seeking a highly experienced HR professional with a strong understanding of both Human Resources and Legal frameworks. This role will serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, driving people initiatives that support organizational goals while ensuring compliance, sound decision-making, and a high-performance culture.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of HR experience, has partnered with senior leadership, and possesses a solid foundation in legal concepts, HR compliance, or prior experience working with/within legal teams.

Key Responsibilities



Strategic HR Partnership



Partner with senior leaders to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support organizational objectives. Act as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and talent management. Provide insights and recommendations using HR analytics and market trends.

Employee Relations & Legal Compliance



Lead complex employee relations cases, investigations, and conflict resolution with sound judgment. Ensure employment practices comply with local labor laws and regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with legal teams on compliance matters, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation. Review and refine HR policies, contracts, and documentation in alignment with legal standards.

Talent Management & Development



Identify skill gaps and work with L&D teams to design development programs. Oversee performance management cycles, coaching leaders on effective feedback and performance conversations. Support leadership development, team building, and engagement initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits

Provide guidance on compensation structures, job leveling, promotions, and salary benchmarking. Work with compensation teams to ensure fairness, equity, and compliance.

Culture & Change Management



Drive employee engagement and assist in fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Lead change management initiatives related to organizational transformation, restructuring, or new processes.

Required Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in

HR, Business Administration, Law, or related field (master's degree preferred).*

10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4+ years in a strategic HR role and

_a strong background in Legal functions.

Strong

_knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices.

_

Experience

_partnering with Legal teams or possessing a Legal background (education and work exposure).

Proven experience managing sensitive employee relations matters with discretion and clarity. Ability to influence senior leaders, drive change, and manage complex HR projects. Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

Good To Have Skills



Exposure to multi-jurisdictional HR practices (if applicable). Certification(s) such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD, or equivalent. Experience in fast-paced, dynamic, or matrixed environments. Strong policy drafting, compliance review, and risk assessment capabilities.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
