Job Description

The HR Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing human resource strategies that support the school's academic and operational goals. The role ensures effective recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and staff development in line with education-sector best practices.

Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment & Staffing

Plan and execute recruitment for teaching, non-teaching, and administrative staff. Coordinate with academic heads for manpower planning and approvals. Manage end-to-end hiring: sourcing, interviews, reference checks, offer letters, and onboarding. Maintain staff database and recruitment records.
2. Employee Onboarding & Engagement

Conduct induction programs for new employees. Facilitate employee engagement initiatives, staff welfare programs, and grievance redressal. Promote a positive and professional work culture.
3. HR Policies & Compliance

Develop, implement, and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks. Ensure compliance with labor laws, school regulations, and statutory requirements. Maintain records related to PF, ESI, gratuity, contracts, and service agreements.
4. Performance Management

Design and implement performance appraisal systems for teaching and non-teaching staff. Support appraisal discussions, increments, confirmations, and promotions. Coordinate probation reviews and performance improvement plans.
5. Payroll & Attendance Management

Oversee payroll processing in coordination with the accounts team. Monitor attendance, leave management, and staff rosters. Ensure accurate salary disbursement and statutory deductions.
6. Training & Development

Identify training needs for academic and non-academic staff. Organize internal and external training programs, workshops, and orientations. Maintain training calendars and records.
7. Employee Relations & Discipline

Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Ensure adherence to code of conduct and institutional values. Support management during audits and inspections.
8. Exit Management

Manage resignations, notice periods, handovers, and exit formalities. Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback. Ensure final settlements and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in HR, MBA (HR), MSW, or equivalent. Minimum 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a school or educational institution. Strong knowledge of labor laws and education-sector HR practices.
Handling Parents.

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and documentation abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters. Leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Timely recruitment and staff retention rate. Employee satisfaction and engagement levels. Compliance and audit accuracy. Effective performance appraisal execution.

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
