The HR Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, including recruitment, employee documentation, attendance, payroll coordination, and HR administration. The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update employee records (soft and hard copies).
Prepare HR documents such as appointment letters, ID cards, and experience certificates.
Support in onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
Coordinate attendance, leave management, and monthly payroll inputs.
Handle ESI, PF, and other statutory compliance documentation.
Maintain HR-related reports and databases.
Support HR audits and inspections.
Handle employee queries in a timely and professional manner.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office and HR software (e.g., PeopleWorks, etc.).
Basic understanding of HR policies and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, CLRA, etc.).
Attention to detail and confidentiality.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in HR / Business Administration / Commerce or equivalent.
MBA in HR (preferred)
