Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
Sourcing candidates, drafting job descriptions, managing interviews, and running new hire orientation programs.
Employee Relations:
Serving as a point of contact, resolving conflicts, conducting investigations, and mediating issues.
Performance Management:
Assisting with performance reviews, developing frameworks, and advising on talent development.
Compensation & Benefits:
Administering payroll, benefits, and leave requests; managing claims.
Compliance & Policy:
Ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws; updating handbooks and policies.
Engagement & Culture:
Organizing engagement activities, conducting exit interviews, and fostering a positive work environment.
Review Historical Data:
Analyze past HR budgets and actual spending to identify trends and effective investments.
Forecast HR Workforce Needs:
Project headcount, recruitment, and turnover to estimate staffing costs.
Categorize Expenses
: Group costs into key areas like salaries, benefits, recruitment, training, technology, and engagement.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
3-5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in start-up or technology environment
Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and compliance requirements
Proficiency in HRIS systems, Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
