Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates.
Maintain candidate database and follow-up for joining.
Support the onboarding and induction process for new employees and workers.
Employee Records & Documentation:
Maintain and update employee files and HR records.
Handle documentation for new joiners, exits, ID cards, etc.
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR data.
Attendance & Leave Management:
Monitor daily attendance (manual/biometric systems like ESSL).
Coordinate leave approvals and maintain leave records.
Assist in preparing monthly attendance reports for payroll.
Payroll Support:
Assist in data collection for worker/staff wages and overtime.
Coordinate with accounts/payroll department for timely processing.
Support statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, etc.).
Employee Engagement & Welfare:
Assist in organizing training, welfare, and safety programs.
Handle uniform, safety gear, and hygiene item distribution.
Help resolve employee queries and support grievance redressal.
Compliance & HR Policies:
Support implementation of HR policies and SOPs.
Maintain records for audits and compliance purposes.
Coordinate with external agencies (e.g., manpower contractors).
Miscellaneous:
Support admin tasks related to HR operations.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HR reports.
Assist in internal communication and notices.
