Job Description

Universal EV India Pvt Ltd is looking for HR Assistant Manager [with excellent English] and ready to work in late evening hours whenever needed for below role:

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Onboarding



Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordination with department heads. Draft and post job descriptions across job portals. Conduct HR interviews to assess communication skills, behaviour, and cultural fit. Manage onboarding, documentation, induction, and employee orientation.

2. HR Operations, Compliance & Legalities



Maintain employee records, HRIS data, attendance, leaves, and payroll coordination. Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations, and company policies. Prepare and manage HR letters (offer, appraisal, warning, relieving, experience letters). Assist with external and internal HR audits.

Take care of all required HR-related legalities

, including statutory filings, labour law obligations, PF/ESI (if applicable), contract management, and compliance documentation.

3. Employee Relations



Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution. Promote and maintain a positive, professional, and respectful workplace culture. Support employee engagement activities and communication initiatives.

4. Performance Management



Coordinate quarterly/annual appraisal cycles. Track KPIs and performance records, and assist managers in review discussions. Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.

5. Training & Development



Identify training and development needs across departments. Organise training programs, workshops, and skill-building sessions. Maintain training schedules, attendance, and assessment records.

6. HR Projects & Support



Support HR process improvements and new policy creation. Assist in manpower planning, organisational restructuring, and succession planning. Ensure confidentiality and handle sensitive HR matters with discretion.

Required Skills & Competencies



Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong understanding of HR operations, labour laws, and compliance Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Good organisational and documentation skills Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace Quick problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities High level of integrity and professionalism

Qualification and experience



Bachelor's degree in HR / Business Administration MBA in HR preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in handling 360 degree HR process
