Job Description

  • Effective communication, who act as a bridge between employees and management.
  • This includes strong verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
  • Interpersonal skills are crucial for building relationships with employees at all levels and fostering a positive work environment.
2. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
  • HRBP will frequently encounter complex issues, from employee relations to compliance matters.
  • Able to analyze situations, identify solutions, and make informed decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills are also important for evaluating data and identifying trends.
3. Adaptability and Flexibility: HRBP must be adaptable and flexible to adjust to changing circumstances and embrace new approaches.
4. Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) is essential for managing employee data, payroll, and other HR processes.
  • Knowledge of other relevant software and tools, such as applicant tracking systems, is also important.
  • Data analysis skills are crucial for understanding trends, identifying areas for improvement, and making data-driven decisions.
5. Employee Relations:
  • Building and maintaining positive employee relations is a key responsibility.
  • This includes addressing employee concerns, conducting Focused Group Discussion, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • They need to be able to navigate employee relations issues with sensitivity and fairness.
6. Performance Management:
  • Play a vital role in performance management, including setting goals, conducting performance evaluations, and appraisals.
  • They need to be able to effectively communicate performance expectations and provide coaching and support to employees.
  • Managing PIP process.
7. Understanding of Employment Law and HR Operations:
  • HRBP must be knowledgeable about relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • This includes understanding fair labor standards, equal employment opportunity laws, and other relevant legislation.
  • They need to ensure that HR practices comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Aware of regular HR operations related work.
8. Learning & Development:
  • Coordinate training programs, track participation, and gather feedback.
  • Maintain records of employee development plans and training histories.
9.Employee Engagement:
  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives and events.
In addition to these core skills, HRBP should also possess:
  • Conflict resolution and mediation skills: The ability to resolve disputes and disagreements effectively.
  • Organizational and time management skills: The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Ethics and integrity: A strong commitment to ethical behavior and confidentiality.
