The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources department in daily administrative tasks, employee coordination, and HR process management. This role ensures smooth communication and efficient handling of HR-related operations, including recruitment, onboarding, documentation, attendance, and employee engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks.
Maintain and update employee records (soft and hard copies).
Support recruitment processes -- job posting, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
Prepare and issue HR documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, and experience certificates.
Handle onboarding and exit formalities for employees.
Maintain attendance, leave, and payroll-related data.
Coordinate employee welfare and engagement programs.
Assist in performance appraisal processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Handle employee queries and provide necessary HR-related support.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
0-2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles (freshers can apply).
Good knowledge of HR processes and practices.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and confidentiality.
