The HR Assistant supports the HR department in day-to-day operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, payroll assistance, and compliance with hospital policies. The role ensures smooth HR operations and contributes to employee engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruitment process - posting job ads, shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews.
Support on boarding and joining formalities for new employees.
Maintain and update employee records, personal files, and HR databases.
Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information (absences, leaves, overtime, etc.).
Handle employee queries related to HR policies, leave, and attendance.
Assist in organizing training and development programs.
Prepare HR letters (offer, appointment, experience, relieving, etc.).
Support performance appraisal processes and maintain related records.
Help in implementing HR policies, hospital rules, and procedures.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure compliance with statutory regulations (ESI, PF, labor laws).
Assist in employee engagement activities and grievance handling.
Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in HR/Business Administration or related field.
1-2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles (Healthcare experience preferred).
Knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and payroll systems.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Work Environment:
Full-time, hospital-based position.
Requires coordination with multiple departments and shift-based staff.
