Onboarding and orientation:
Coordinating new hire orientations, processing new hire paperwork, and setting up new employee accounts and workstations.
Record-keeping:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee files and databases, including personal information, employment contracts, and benefits documentation.
Payroll and benefits:
Assisting with payroll processing, tracking attendance and leave, and responding to employee questions about benefits.
Administrative tasks:
Scheduling meetings, managing the HR department's email, and producing reports on HR activities.
Employee relations:
Acting as a point of contact for employees, answering general questions, and assisting with grievances and termination paperwork.
