This is a dual-role position responsible for managing
Human Resources
and
Finance/Accounts
operations. The candidate will ensure smooth people management, compliance, payroll coordination, accounting accuracy, and transparent financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities1? Human Resources (HR) ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Onboarding
Manage end-to-end hiring: sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer letters.
Maintain candidate pipelines for future roles.
Conduct onboarding, documentation, and orientation.
Employee Relations & Office Culture
Ensure a disciplined, professional, and respectful workplace.
Address grievances in a confidential and unbiased manner.
Conduct periodic employee check-ins and maintain team morale.
Draft and communicate HR policies, code of conduct, and guidelines.
HR Operations
Maintain employee database, attendance, and leave records.
Coordinate with Finance for payroll inputs (leaves, deductions, reimbursements).
Issue letters: appointment, increment, warnings, exit letters, etc.
Manage exit processes (resignation, handover, relieving).
Compliance
Ensure labour law and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Shops Act).
Maintain proper documentation for audits and legal requirements.
Maintain books of accounts using Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks.
Record all transactions: invoices, receipts, payments, expenses.
Handle vendor payments and track outstanding receivables.
Maintain petty cash and operational bill management.
Banking & Financial Operations
Reconcile bank accounts and payment gateways monthly.
Prepare weekly cashflow statements and spending reports.
Track company burn rate and alert management on unusual expenses.
Compliance & Reporting
Coordinate for GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
Maintain audit-ready financial records.
Support CA with monthly and annual filings.
Prepare monthly financial summaries for management review.
Budgeting Support
Assist in project-wise budgeting and forecasting.
Monitor budgets vs. actual spending.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Commerce, Finance, or related field.
Experience in HR and Accounts roles (startup experience preferred).
Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Fluency in accounting software (Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks).
High attention to detail, discipline, and ownership.
Ability to multitask and work independently in fast-paced environments.
