Job Description

HR (Human Resources) and Adminstration professional in a manufacturing setting manages all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training, compliance, and performance management aligning HR practices with the specific needs of the manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

:

1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

Overseeing the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring new employees.

Managing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are properly integrated into the plant's culture and procedures.

2. Employee Relations:

Building positive employee relations and addressing workplace conflicts.

Managing grievances, disciplinary actions, and ensuring fair treatment of all employees.

Fostering a positive work environment through employee engagement and morale-boosting activities.

3. Compliance and Legal:

Ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.

Implementing and managing HR policies and procedures that align with company guidelines and legal requirements.

4. Training and Development:

Developing and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

Facilitating professional development opportunities for employees.

5. Performance Management:

Overseeing performance management processes, including performance appraisals and feedback.

Working with managers to address performance issues and develop improvement plans.

6. Compensation and Benefits:

Administering compensation and benefits programs for plant employees.

Ensuring that compensation practices are competitive and fair.

7. Safety and Health:

Working with the plant's safety team to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

Implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures.

8. Other Responsibilities:

Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.

Managing employee relations issues and ensuring a positive work environment.

Providing HR guidance and support to managers and employees.

Possibly negotiating collective bargaining agreements in unionized environments.

May involve overseeing other administrative functions like canteen, transportation, and housekeeping.

Advising management on HR best practices and legal requirements.

Participating in workforce planning and organizational development.

Qualifications & Skills



Proven experience (3+ years) as an HR Officer or in a similar HR role with expertise in Payroll, Compensation and Benefits, and HR Operations. In-depth knowledge of HR systems and practices, including payroll management, labor laws, and compensation structuring. Strong understanding of HR operations and compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or HR software. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
