Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
: Actively source, interview, and hire qualified candidates. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process with the ability to fill critical positions on short notice.
Employee Relations & Engagement
: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries and concerns. Implement strategies to boost engagement, morale, and retention.
Compensation & Benefits
: Collaborate with the accounts team to manage and track payroll. Define and maintain a competitive salary structure. Coordinate with external service providers for tax planning and other benefits.
HR Operations & Compliance
: Develop and implement HR policies that align with Indian labor laws and client-required compliance standards. Handle performance management, employee records, and policy updates.
Administrative Management
: Manage office administration, including procurement of office supplies, vendor relations for facility maintenance, and overseeing general office upkeep. Coordinate travel arrangements and other logistical support for the team.
Vendor Management
: Select and manage vendors for HR services (like background checks) and administrative services (like facility management).
Data & Policy Management
: Ensure strict data privacy and confidentiality, especially concerning our work in sensitive domains like healthcare, insurance, and finance.
Qualifications
4-5 years of experience in Human Resources and Administration, preferably within the IT sector.
Excellent communication and writing skills
.
Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
Hands-on experience with payroll management, defining salary structures, and tax planning.
Strong understanding of data privacy
(e.g., HIPAA) and cross-cultural communication for working with US-based clients.
Analytical skills
to use HR metrics for data-driven decisions.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
