to oversee human resources, compliance, and administrative operations at our Cement / AAC Blocks manufacturing plant. This role requires strong HR expertise in a factory environment, including labor management, statutory compliance, recruitment for technical roles, and plant administration.
Lead recruitment for plant-level positions (technical, operations, maintenance, logistics, etc.).
Manage onboarding, induction, and orientation programs.
Maintain proper manpower planning, shift scheduling, and attendance systems.
Handle contractor workforce management and contractor compliance.
2. Statutory Compliance & Labor Relations
Ensure compliance with all labor laws: Factories Act, PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, etc.
Maintain statutory registers, licenses, and documentation.
Build healthy relationships with labor, unions (if any), and local authorities.
Manage grievance handling and conflict resolution professionally.
3. Performance Management & Training
Implement performance appraisal systems and KPI-based evaluations.
Identify skill gaps and coordinate technical & safety training programs.
Monitor employee productivity and support capability development.
4. Payroll & HR Operations
Oversee payroll processing, attendance, leave management, and timekeeping systems.
Manage employee records, HR documentation, and MIS reports.
Ensure timely salary disbursement and settlement of full & final accounts.
5. Employee Engagement & Welfare
Plan employee welfare, engagement, and retention activities for factory staff.
Promote a positive working culture and address concerns proactively.
Monitor workplace hygiene, safety, and employee well-being.
6. Administrative Management
Oversee plant administration: security, housekeeping, canteen, transport, and accommodation.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for facility management.
Manage asset allocation, office supplies, and AMC contracts.
Ensure smooth operation of office and plant administrative support.
7. Industrial Safety Coordination
Work with the EHS/Safety team to ensure implementation of safety standards.
Support audits, inspections, and safety compliance at the plant.
8. Management Reporting
Provide regular HR & admin dashboards and MIS reports to management.
Assist in budgeting for HR, welfare, and administrative expenses.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
5-10 years of experience in HR & Admin roles, preferably in Cement, AAC Blocks, or heavy manufacturing industries.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and factory HR processes.
Experience handling blue-collar employees and contractor workforce.
Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and ability to handle plant-level HR independently.
Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS systems, and payroll software.
