Job Summary :
The HR & Admin Head will oversee the Human Resource and Administrative operations for the Deori unit, ensuring effective manpower planning, employee engagement, statutory compliance, and smooth facility management. The role requires a proactive professional who can align HR strategies with organizational goals while maintaining a disciplined and productive workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Human Resource Management
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business objectives.
Manage the complete employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and separation.
Handle manpower planning and coordinate with department heads for effective deployment.
Drive performance appraisals, reward programs, and employee development initiatives.
Address employee grievances promptly and maintain industrial harmony.
Monitor attendance, leave, and shift operations via HRMS or manual systems.
2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical, administrative, and field roles.
Coordinate with recruitment agencies, consultants, and local sources for hiring.
Conduct interviews and facilitate the selection process with HODs.
Emphasize local hiring and community engagement for manpower needs.
3. Training & Development
Identify training needs through skill-gap assessments and performance reviews.
Conduct internal and external training sessions.
Maintain training calendars and documentation.
4. Statutory Compliance & Industrial Relations
Ensure compliance with labour laws including Factories Act, EPF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.
Liaise with government bodies such as Labour Office, ESIC, PF departments.
Maintain relationships with workmen, unions (if applicable), and contract labour teams.
Prepare and maintain all statutory registers, reports, and documentation.
5. Administration & General Management
Oversee housekeeping, security, transportation, and canteen operations.
Manage office infrastructure, utilities, repairs, and vendor contracts.
Monitor administrative budgets and cost control.
Ensure adherence to Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards.
Manage company accommodation, guest house, and related facilities.
6. Communication & Culture Building
Promote a positive work culture emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and transparency.
Organize employee engagement and welfare activities.
Assist management in communication and policy implementation.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
MBA / PGDM in HR, MSW, or equivalent.
Experience:
10-15 years in HR & Admin roles, with minimum 5 years in a senior managerial profile.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Strong problem-solving ability and high integrity.
Proficiency with MS Office and HRMS software.
Ability to work independently in a plant or remote setup.
