Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a dual background in HR and accounting. This role is crucial for our day-to-day operations and requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a U.S.-based company and is comfortable with the unique demands of the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Functions:
Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding.
Handle all employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management.
Ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws and company policies.
Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation for U.S.-based employees.
Maintain accurate employee records and files.
Accounting Functions:
Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Reconcile bank accounts and manage month-end and year-end close processes.
Assist in financial forecasting and cost analysis for construction projects.
Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and tax compliance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an
HR and Accounting Manager
or in a similar dual role.
Strong knowledge of both human resources and accounting principles.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in U.S. English.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
Experience in the mechanical, construction, or a related industry is a plus.
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
