The Houseman supports the housekeeping and maintenance departments by ensuring all guest areas, public spaces, and back-of-house areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked. This role is essential in maintaining high cleanliness standards and ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain all public areas, hallways, elevators, and restrooms.
Assist Room Attendants by delivering linens, towels, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
Remove dirty linens, trash, and recyclables from guest rooms and service areas.
Set up and break down meeting rooms, banquet spaces, and guest facilities as requested.
Maintain housekeeping closets and storage rooms in a clean, organized condition.
Respond promptly to guest requests and assist with luggage or other needs when required.
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department immediately.
Support deep cleaning projects, carpet cleaning, and special event setups.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
