We are looking for a mature, seasoned, and hands-on leader to take full charge of our Housekeeping Department.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Executive Housekeeping Supervisor

to oversee all housekeeping operations. The ideal candidate is a mature professional (Age 35-50) with over a decade of experience in the hotel industry. You will be responsible for maintaining impeccable cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas, managing the housekeeping team, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

Supervise, train, and motivate the housekeeping team (room attendants, public area cleaners) to ensure high productivity and morale.

Quality Control:

Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms (occupied and vacant) and public areas to ensure they meet the hotel's 3-star hygiene and aesthetic standards.

Operations Management:

Prepare duty rosters, manage staff shifts, and handle leaves to ensure adequate coverage at all times.

Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory of linen, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities. Place orders efficiently to avoid wastage and shortages.

Coordination:

Work closely with the Front Office for room clearance and the Maintenance Department for timely repairs (AC, plumbing, lights).

Guest Service:

Handle guest requests and complaints regarding housekeeping promptly and professionally.

Cost Control:

Monitor the usage of cleaning chemicals and supplies to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.

Strict Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum

10+ years

of proven experience in Hotel Housekeeping (preferably in 3-star hotels or above).

Age:

Candidate

MUST be between 35 to 50 years

of age.

Education:

Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management is a plus, but substantial practical experience is prioritized.

Language:

Fluency in Tamil is mandatory; functional English and Hindi are preferred.

Skills:

Strong leadership, eye for detail, discipline, and the ability to manage a team of diverse staff.

Shift & Schedule:

Rotational shifts (Day/General) as per hotel operations. 6-day work week.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary:
