to oversee and manage housekeeping operations in our hospital. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for cleanliness and hygiene, and in-depth knowledge of infection control standards in a healthcare environment.
Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure all hospital areas (wards, ICUs, OTs, OPDs, lobbies, washrooms, etc.) are cleaned and maintained to the highest hygiene standards.
Assign duties and shifts to housekeeping staff and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Inspect patient rooms, public areas, and other facilities for cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
Monitor the use of cleaning chemicals and tools in compliance with hospital protocols.
Hygiene & Infection Control:
Ensure strict adherence to hospital
infection control policies
and biomedical waste management protocols.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to prevent cross-contamination.
Train housekeeping staff on proper sanitisation methods, use of PPE, and handling of biohazardous waste.
Inventory & Supplies Management:
Maintain records and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and housekeeping tools.
Raise purchase requests and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
Ensure proper usage and storage of cleaning agents and equipment.
Staff Supervision & Training:
Conduct regular training sessions and refreshers on cleaning techniques, infection control, fire safety, and patient privacy.
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to improve service quality.
Handle staff attendance, leave management, and ensure adequate manpower at all times.
Coordination & Reporting:
Coordinate with nursing, maintenance, and other departments for smooth facility operations.
Address complaints or feedback related to housekeeping services and resolve issues promptly.
Prepare daily/weekly reports and submit them to the management.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2
years of experience
in housekeeping supervision, preferably in a
hospital or healthcare environment

Strong knowledge of

Ability to manage a large team and work under pressure.
Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
