- Supervise housekeeping staff activities, including cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Inspect rooms and public areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques and hotel protocols.
- Manage and maintain housekeeping inventory, as well as place orders for necessary supplies.
- Address guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping promptly and efficiently.
- Create and manage staff schedules, handling time-off requests effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of prior housekeeping experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Capability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Knowledge of various cleaning products and best practices in the industry.
