The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily housekeeping operations of the resort to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and a pleasant environment for guests and staff. The role involves supervising housekeeping staff, maintaining standards, and ensuring smooth execution of all cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and guide housekeeping staff to deliver high-quality service.
Assign daily duties and inspect guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house, and staff accommodations.
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed as per resort standards.
Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, and guest amenities; raise requisitions when required.
Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene, safety, and maintenance standards.
Prepare duty rosters and manage staff schedules to ensure coverage.
Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance for room readiness and repairs.
Ensure compliance with resort policies, SOPs, and safety standards.
Motivate the team and maintain discipline among staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in hotels/resorts.
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Education & Experience:
Diploma/degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
