Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented

Housekeeping Supervisor

to oversee daily housekeeping operations, manage housekeeping staff, and ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently met across the premises.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff (cleaners, janitors, attendants).

Ensure all areas such as rooms, lobbies, restrooms, and workspaces are cleaned and maintained to company standards.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure high levels of cleanliness and sanitation.

Allocate duties to housekeeping personnel and prepare daily work schedules.

Maintain housekeeping supplies inventory and coordinate with procurement for replenishments.

Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, chemical usage, and safety protocols.

Ensure proper usage and maintenance of cleaning equipment.

Handle complaints or feedback from clients or departments regarding cleanliness.

Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Prepare daily/weekly reports on housekeeping activities and staff performance.

Qualifications:

Any diploma/Degree.

Min 3 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Good knowledge of cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment.

Strong organizational, communication, and people management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in hospitals, hotels, malls, or large corporate offices.

Basic computer skills (Excel, email) for reporting and scheduling.

Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning practices and infection control (for healthcare settings).

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
