We are seeking a diligent and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our housekeeping team. This role requires an individual with strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld at all times.
A background in housekeeping/hotel management or related field is mandatory. Candidates staying near the office location will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily Supervision:
- Oversee and manage the housekeeping staff, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed to the highest standards.
- Allocate daily duties and ensure efficient workflow among the housekeeping team.
2. Inspection & Quality Control:
- Inspect rooms, common areas, and premises regularly to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
- Address and resolve any housekeeping issues or complaints promptly.
3. Inventory & Supplies Management:
- Monitor and maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment.
- Place orders for replenishments as needed to avoid shortages.
4. Staff Coordination & Training:
- Train new and existing housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular briefings and ensure adherence to schedules and deadlines.
5. Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree in hotel management or related field is preferred.
- 0 - 2 years of experience in housekeeping, Freshers are welcome. Experience in supervisory role is plus.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Proficiency in managing housekeeping operations and staff schedules.
- Ability to handle complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
