Housekeeping Supervisor (HK Supervisor)

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The role supports the Housekeeping Manager in delivering a high level of guest satisfaction and maintaining resort standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. Allocate duties and work schedules to housekeeping staff and ensure timely completion of tasks. Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are met. Ensure proper use and care of housekeeping equipment, linen, and cleaning supplies. Monitor inventory levels of linen, amenities, and cleaning materials; report shortages. Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and service standards. Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times. Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping promptly and professionally. Coordinate with Front Office, Maintenance, and Laundry for smooth operations. Report maintenance issues and follow up for timely rectification. Ensure compliance with resort SOPs, company policies, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or certificate in Hotel Management / Housekeeping preferred. 2-4 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Good knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning standards, and chemicals. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality and hygiene. Ability to work in a fast-paced resort environment. Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Skills

Experience in resort or hotel housekeeping operations. Knowledge of linen control, inventory management, and cost control. Familiarity with safety standards and hygiene practices. Basic computer skills for reports and duty rosters.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
