Responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene of the hospital facility and infrastructure
Job Responsibilities:
Assign housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met
Plan and schedule staff shifts and organizing replacements as required
Investigate and address complaints regarding poor housekeeping service
Provide training to the housekeeping staff on best practices
Take regular inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed
Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed
Screening housekeeping applicants and recommending promotions, transfers, and dismissals
Perform various cleaning duties in instances of staff shortages
Job Specifications:
Qualification: High school diploma or Graduate
Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in same role
Technical Skills / Job related skills: working knowledge on house-keeping, dexterity and strength to perform or monitor physical work, record management, working knowledge on MS office
Management Skills: Be a good team player, maintain good people relations, organizing skills and time management
Communication Skills: Empathetic communication towards staff, patients and others. Good command on south Indian languages and English
