1.Operational Housekeeping ManagementSupervise daily cleaning activities across production floors, packaging areas, warehouses, laboratories, and office spaces.Ensure strict adherence to plant hygiene standards, 5S practices, and audit requirements.Maintain high standards of sanitation in washrooms, cafeterias, change rooms, staircases, and corridors.Conduct routine floor inspections and ensure immediate corrective actions for any non-conformance.
2. Staff Supervision & DeploymentAssign work schedules, duties, and shift rotations for housekeeping staff.Train housekeeping personnel on cleaning processes, chemical usage, safety measures, and PPE compliance.Monitor staff performance and implement discipline as required.
3. Hygiene & Safety ComplianceEnsure compliance with EHS, GMP, HACCP, FSSAI or industry-specific hygiene protocols (for food-grade manufacturing).Oversee proper waste segregation, disposal, and recycling procedures.Enforce safe handling of chemicals, equipment, and housekeeping tools.Maintain and update housekeeping SOPs and checklists.
4. Inventory & Asset ManagementManage inventory of cleaning chemicals, consumables, and equipment.Raise requisitions for stock replenishment and ensure cost-effective usage.Oversee maintenance and repair of housekeeping equipment (vacuum cleaners, scrubbers, mops, etc.).
5. Visiting Outlets, Inspection, Reporting & DocumentationConduct daily inspections and maintain cleaning logs, checklists, audit reports, and attendance records.Prepare monthly housekeeping performance reports.Support internal and external audits by ensuring up-to-date documentation.
