Room Attendants, Housemen, Public Area Attendants, Laundry (coordination)
Role Summary
Ensure immaculate rooms and public areas, efficient shift operations, and swift guest service. Lead a small team on the floor, uphold hygiene & safety standards, and control inventories to meet The Quorum Hotel's quality benchmarks.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Guest Service
Conduct room/public-area inspections; release rooms on PMS once standards are met.
Monitor room status (VD/VC/O/OOS/OOO), turn-down, VIP set-ups, and special amenities.
Handle guest requests/complaints promptly; close tasks on the HK/PMS system.
Manage Lost & Found as per SOP (logging, storage, handover).
People & Training
Allocate sections/boards, brief/debrief the team; maintain duty rosters and attendance.
Onboard and train associates on SOPs, chemical safety, equipment usage, and grooming.
Coach for productivity (rooms per RA) while maintaining quality.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Maintain cleaning SOPs, deep-cleaning calendars, spring-clean schedules, and PA audits.
Enforce chemical handling (MSDS), PPE usage, fire safety, and hygiene protocols.
Coordinate pest-control, linen quality checks, and preventive maintenance with Engineering.
Inventory & Cost Control
Control and record daily issue/consumption of linen, supplies, and chemicals.
Track par levels (linen & guest supplies); raise indents and verify GRNs with Stores.
Support monthly stock-takes; minimize variances and reduce CPOR.
Administration & Coordination
Maintain checklists, inspection scores, logbooks, and breakout-area hygiene.
Liaise with Front Office on room priorities, early arrivals, and late checkouts.
Prepare daily reports (inspections, OOO/OOS, deep-clean progress, L&F register).
Eligibility & Skills
Diploma/Certificate in Hotel Management preferred; 2-4 years in Housekeeping with at least 1 year as Supervisor/Team Leader (flexible for strong candidates).
Strong knowledge of room/public-area standards, chemicals, and machinery (vacuum, scrubber, extractor).
Working knowledge of a PMS/Task app (e.g., Opera/Fidelio/HotSOS) and MS Excel for reports.
Eye for detail, people handling, and calm guest interaction.
Languages: English essential; Kannada/Hindi an advantage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Room Readiness by standard check-in time (%).
Inspection Score (average % for rooms & PA).
Guest Request TAT (avg. minutes) & complaint closures.
Productivity (rooms cleaned per RA per shift) with quality.
CPOR for HK supplies & linen; monthly inventory variance.
Deep-clean & spring-clean schedule adherence (%).
L&F compliance (100% logged & closed as per SOP).
Work Conditions
Rotational shifts, weekends/holidays as per roster.
Standing/physical work with equipment; PPE provided.
Uniform & grooming standards as per The Quorum Hotel policy.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
