Responsible for supervising housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness standards, room readiness, and smooth coordination with staff to deliver excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise room attendants, cleaners, and housekeeping staff
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and brand standards are maintained
Manage staff schedules, duty rosters, and task allocation
Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements
Maintain inventory of linen, cleaning supplies, and equipment
Train new housekeeping staff on SOPs and safety standards
Coordinate with Front Office for room updates and check-ins/check-outs
Ensure proper maintenance reporting (repairs, damages, maintenance issues)
Required Skills:
Strong leadership & team coordination
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment
Good communication & guest-handling skills
Eye for detail
Time management & multitasking
Qualifications:
Diploma/Graduate in Hotel Management preferred
Experience in hotel housekeeping mandatory
