Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation operations in our restaurant and banquet facilities. You will lead a team to ensure impeccable hygiene standards, guest satisfaction, and compliance with health regulations, supporting smooth operations in a high-volume North Indian cuisine environment.

Key Responsibilities



Supervise and schedule a team of housekeeping staff, assigning tasks for dining areas, kitchens, restrooms, banquet halls, and common spaces. Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards; address issues promptly. Train new hires on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, chemical handling, and hygiene protocols. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; order stock as needed while controlling costs along with inventory and purchase of all Food and Packaging items. Ensure adherence to food safety regulations (e.g., FSSAI guidelines), pest control, and waste management. Coordinate deep cleaning schedules during off-peak hours and prepare facilities for events or peak service. Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping, escalating complex issues to management. Maintain records of cleaning logs, staff performance, and maintenance requests. Promote a positive team culture, conduct performance reviews, and enforce disciplinary actions when required.

Qualifications and Skills



Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field; 2+ years in housekeeping supervision preferred. Proven experience in restaurant, hotel, or banquet housekeeping operations. Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, HACCP/FSSAI compliance, and cleaning best practices. Leadership skills with ability to motivate and train a diverse team. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities; physical stamina for hands-on work. Proficiency in basic inventory tracking (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets) and local languages (Gujarati/Hindi/English). Flexible availability for shifts, including evenings, weekends, and events.
