Position Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor/ Executive is responsible to supervise and inspect the work of assigned room and/or public area attendants to ensure product quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided
to hotel guests according to hotel and company business objectives during the night time.
Additionally, He/She should be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
Prerequisites:
Ability to lift carries, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Ability to stand during entire shift.
Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
Have a friendly, welcoming and full of life attitude.
Able to find ways to make every guest's experience an enjoyable one.
Proficiency in computer programs like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and working experience in hotel software like IDS, Opera, Protel, Fidelio etc. is an added advantage.
Education:
High School or Diploma in Hotel Administration, Hotel Management or equivalent.
Experience:
Two to three years of housekeeping experience preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity and including supervisory experience or training.
Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
