Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff.
Inspect rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and standards are met.
Assign daily duties and responsibilities to housekeeping staff.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment.
Handle staff performance issues and provide necessary guidance or corrective measures.
Report maintenance and repair needs to the relevant department.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain records of cleaning activities, staff attendance, and supplies usage.
Provide excellent customer service and promptly address guest or client complaints.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a
housekeeping supervisor
or similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, materials, and safety protocols.
Good organizational and time-management abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Basic computer knowledge for reporting and scheduling (preferred).
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Diploma in hospitality management or a related field (preferred).
2-3 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
