Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible

Housekeeping Supervisor

to oversee and manage hospital housekeeping staff and ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff. The role requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a strong focus on hospital infection control and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, train, and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff. Ensure patient rooms, wards, ICUs, operation theaters, outpatient areas, and administrative offices are cleaned and maintained as per hospital hygiene standards. Monitor cleanliness of floors, restrooms, linen, waste disposal, and common areas. Conduct regular inspections and audits of housekeeping tasks to ensure quality standards. Implement and monitor

infection control measures

in coordination with hospital infection control committees. Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies, cleaning materials, and equipment. Prepare staff duty rosters and allocate work to ensure adequate coverage. Handle staff grievances, resolve conflicts, and motivate the team for better performance. Ensure compliance with hospital safety and sanitation protocols. Submit daily/weekly reports on housekeeping performance to the administration.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

10th / 12th Pass; Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or Housekeeping preferred.

Experience:

3-5 years in housekeeping, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role (hospital/healthcare experience preferred). Strong knowledge of

hospital sanitation, waste management, and infection control practices

. Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage staff effectively and handle emergency cleaning situations.
