Duties & Responsibilities

Retail Floor Cleaning:

Perform daily sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming of all floor types (carpets, tiles, wood) in the showroom and high-traffic areas. Regularly dust and wipe down all display shelves, racks, counter-tops, mannequins, and fixtures to prevent lint and dust accumulation on textile products.

Aesthetic Maintenance:

Clean and polish all glass surfaces, including entrance doors, display windows, mirrors, and fitting room mirrors. Ensure all common areas, seating, and decor items are consistently polished and dust-free.

Sanitation and Restrooms:

Thoroughly clean and disinfect all customer and staff restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors. Monitor and ensure all restrooms are adequately stocked with soap, hand towels, and toilet paper at all times.

Waste Management:

Collect and empty all trash receptacles and bins throughout the store (retail floor, back office, restrooms) in a timely manner. Manage and dispose of large packaging, cartons, and waste materials according to company procedures.

Operational Support:

Monitor and manage housekeeping supply inventory, reporting the need for replenishment before stock runs low. Assist with immediate spot cleaning of spills or accidents on the floor or near merchandise. Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation standards, using "Wet Floor" signs appropriately to prevent accidents.
