The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of guest rooms and public areas. The role ensures that every guest experiences a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
Clean, sanitize, and arrange guest rooms according to hotel standards.
Make beds, replace linens, restock amenities, and ensure proper room setup.
Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including fixtures, tiles, mirrors, and floors.
Maintain cleanliness of corridors, service areas, and assigned public spaces.
Refill housekeeping trolleys and ensure sufficient stock of supplies.
Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items immediately.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
Assist with laundry operations when required.
Handle guest requests with courtesy and efficiency.
Support deep-cleaning schedules and spring-cleaning tasks.
Ensure timely room turnovers to support smooth front-office operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous housekeeping/hotel experience preferred but not mandatory.
Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic communication skills and professional grooming standards.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
