The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms and assigned public areas, ensuring a high standard of comfort and satisfaction for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and service guest rooms daily as per hotel standards
Make beds, change linens, and replace used towels and amenities
Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize rooms, bathrooms, and balconies
Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, water bottles, and tea/coffee items
Check room condition and report any maintenance issues or damages immediately
Follow lost and found procedures strictly
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
Maintain proper usage and control of housekeeping supplies and linen
Respond to guest requests courteously and promptly
Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance departments as required
Ensure assigned public areas are clean when required

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum education: 10th pass (preferred)
Prior experience in housekeeping or hotel operations is an advantage

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long hours
Ability to lift and move housekeeping equipment and supplies
Working Conditions:
Shift duties including weekends and holidays
Indoor and outdoor work depending on assignment
