The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage daily housekeeping operations including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house, and laundry.
Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet hotel standards.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
Recruit, train, and evaluate housekeeping staff; manage schedules and assignments.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; manage ordering and usage.
Handle guest complaints and requests promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
Prepare reports on room status, occupancy, and departmental performance.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Front Office, Maintenance) for seamless guest service.
Lead departmental meetings and communicate goals and updates to the team.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 5-7 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems (PMS).
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Knowledge of housekeeping equipment, cleaning chemicals, and safety protocols.
