The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction in a five-star hotel. The role involves staff supervision, quality control, inventory management, and coordination with other departments to deliver exceptional luxury service.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and supervise daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and back-of-house areas
Ensure all areas meet five-star cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards
Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to maintain quality standards
Manage housekeeping budgets, control costs, and monitor productivity
Oversee inventory, linen, uniforms, cleaning supplies, and equipment
Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements promptly and professionally
Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry departments to ensure smooth operations
Implement and monitor health, safety, and sanitation policies in compliance with hotel and legal standards
Prepare reports on occupancy, staffing, maintenance issues, and performance metrics
Ensure adherence to brand standards and hotel policies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
