Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitization:

Clean patient rooms, wards, ICUs, OPDs, and operation theaters. Sanitize surfaces like beds, doorknobs, and equipment. Mop floors and dispose of garbage and bio-medical waste properly.

Waste Management:

Segregate and dispose of general and bio-medical waste as per guidelines. Follow color-coded bin system (Red, Yellow, Black, Blue).

Linen Handling:

Collect soiled linen and send it for washing. Distribute clean linen to wards and ensure proper storage.

Toilet and Washroom Maintenance:

Clean patient and staff toilets regularly. Refill handwash, sanitizers, and toilet paper.

Support Services:

Assist in shifting patients (non-clinical help). Help in moving stretchers, wheelchairs, and medical trolleys (if assigned). Maintain cleanliness during and after minor procedures (under supervision).

Pest Control Support:

Report sightings of pests or insects. Assist during scheduled pest control activities.

Patient Room Turnover:

Clean and prepare rooms after discharge. Ensure beds, furniture, and medical equipment are cleaned and arranged.

Reporting:

Inform supervisor of any breakages, spills, or maintenance needs. Maintain cleaning logs and checklists if required.

General Rules to Follow:

or interfere with clinical work.

Avoid eating or sleeping

on duty. Follow

infection control protocols

and hospital policies.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹11,000.00 per month
