Job Description

The Housekeeping Incharge will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of all guest rooms, cottages, public areas, and surrounding premises of Vaani Greens. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure a pleasant and comfortable environment for guests.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations for rooms, cottages, and common areas. Ensure all rooms and facilities meet high standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation. Assign duties and inspect work of housekeeping staff to ensure quality standards are maintained. Manage inventory and requisition of cleaning materials, linens, and guest supplies. Conduct regular inspections of rooms, washrooms, and outdoor areas. Train and motivate housekeeping staff on cleanliness, hygiene, and hospitality standards. Coordinate with maintenance and front office teams for smooth operations. Maintain proper records of staff attendance, cleaning schedules, and stock usage. Ensure adherence to safety and sanitation policies. Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping efficiently and courteously.

Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in resorts/hospitality setups. Diploma or certification in Hotel Management or Housekeeping preferred. Must have proper knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe handling. Good communication and leadership skills. Strong sense of responsibility and eye for detail. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and handle multiple tasks.
