Housekeeping/Hygiene Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping/Hygiene Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall hygiene of the facility. The role ensures that all housekeeping staff maintain high standards of cleanliness and comply with company policies and health regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance. Ensure all areas (work floors, restrooms, dining spaces, common areas, accommodations, etc.) are cleaned and maintained as per hygiene protocols. Conduct regular inspections of the premises and prepare cleanliness reports. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, especially in high-risk zones (kitchen, production, etc.). Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and coordinate with the purchase department for replenishment. Train new housekeeping staff and conduct periodic refreshers on hygiene protocols. Report maintenance issues or damage to facilities promptly. Maintain records of duty rosters, cleaning schedules, inspection checklists, and compliance logs. Coordinate with pest control service providers and ensure pest-free environments. Act as the point of contact during hygiene audits or inspections by external agencies.

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Leadership and team management skills Familiarity with housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals Knowledge of sanitation standards (FSSAI/GMP/ISO, etc. - as applicable) Ability to plan and organize tasks efficiently Good communication skills Basic computer knowledge for reporting and record-keeping

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a supervisory housekeeping or hygiene-related role High School Diploma / Graduate (Preferred) Experience in [industry - e.g., hospitality, healthcare, food production] is an added advantage

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
