Manage the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning and maintenance of all areas, including production floors, offices, common spaces, restrooms, and warehouses, adhering to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure the facility meets all safety standards and regulations, particularly in relation to cleanliness, waste management, and the proper handling of cleaning chemicals. Actively promote a safe working environment by conducting regular safety inspections.
5S Implementation & Maintenance:
Implement and sustain 5S principles throughout the facility, ensuring that work areas are organized, clean, and efficient. Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with 5S standards and address any discrepancies.
Facility Inspections:
Conduct thorough inspections of all areas regularly to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety, providing immediate corrective actions where necessary. Document any issues and report them to management.
Inventory Management:
Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies and materials, ensuring adequate stock levels and ordering supplies as needed. Track usage and costs to optimize inventory management.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
Work closely with production, safety, maintenance, and administrative teams to ensure seamless operations, aligning housekeeping activities with overall production schedules and safety requirements.
Waste Management:
Ensure proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with environmental and safety regulations. Manage waste segregation practices within the facility.
Training & Development:
Train housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, the correct use of chemicals and equipment, and safety protocols. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and provide feedback for performance enhancement.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain cleaning schedules, inventory records, safety logs, 5S audits, and incident reports. Ensure all documentation is updated and easily accessible for audits and regulatory compliance.
Preventive Maintenance:
Ensure that all cleaning equipment is maintained and serviced regularly. Report any equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team for prompt repairs.
