Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Staff Management:

Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff.

Operations Oversight:

Direct and coordinate all housekeeping activities, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and common areas.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and maintenance meet established standards.

Inventory & Supplies:

Manage and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and ordered as needed.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage the housekeeping department's budget, monitoring expenses to stay within financial guidelines.

Guest Services:

Respond to and resolve guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping in a timely and professional manner.

Interdepartmental Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Procedure Development:

Establish and implement effective housekeeping procedures and standards to promote a clean and safe environment.

Safety & Security:

Implement and enforce safety and security protocols within the housekeeping department.

Leadership Skills:

The ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.

Organizational Skills:

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication to coordinate with staff and other departments.

Problem-Solving:

The ability to identify, prevent, and solve operational problems.

Administrative Skills:

Proficiency in tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and report writing.

Previous Experience:

Prior experience in a housekeeping role, with experience in a supervisory or management capacity, is typically required.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
