Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant / HousekeeperJob Summary

We are looking for a thorough and dependable Housekeeper to join our team. Your primary goal is to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for all. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well independently, and takes pride in providing excellent service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

General Cleaning:

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all assigned areas such as guest rooms, offices, and common spaces.

Sanitation:

Deep-clean and disinfect restrooms, showers, sinks, and high-touch surfaces (e.g., elevator buttons, doorknobs) to meet hygiene standards.

Linen & Bed Management:

Change bed linens, make beds to company standards, and handle laundry duties including washing, drying, and folding towels and linens.

Restocking:

Replenish essential supplies such as toiletries (shampoo, soap), coffee/tea sachets, and paper products.

Waste Management:

Empty trash bins, dispose of waste in a sanitary manner, and replace liners.

Maintenance Reporting:

Identify and report any damage, broken fixtures (e.g., burnt-out bulbs, plumbing leaks), or safety hazards to management promptly.

Guest Relations:

Respond to guest requests politely and promptly while maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor.

Requirements and Skills

Experience:

Prior experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not always required (on-the-job training provided).

Attention to Detail:

Ability to spot minor flaws and ensure every space meets quality standards.

Time Management:

Capable of completing assigned rooms or tasks within established timeframes without compromising quality.

Reliability:

Punctual and able to follow specific cleaning checklists and schedules.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools (vacuum cleaners, floor polishers), and safety protocols.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (e.g., an entire 8-hour shift). Physical strength to lift, push, or pull up to 35-50 lbs (e.g., moving cleaning carts or furniture). Mobility to bend, kneel, reach overhead, and crouch frequently.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
