Job Description

1. Cleaning and Maintenance



Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, corridors, and back offices. Make beds, change linens, and replace towels as per hotel standards. Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and clean windows, furniture, and fixtures. Report any maintenance issues or damage immediately to the Engineering department.

2. Guest Room Preparation



Ensure rooms are properly stocked with amenities, toiletries, and supplies. Check that rooms are clean, organized, and inspection-ready before guest arrival. Follow hotel SOPs for turn-down service and special guest requests.

3. Laundry and Linen Management



Collect, wash, iron, and distribute hotel linens, uniforms, and guest laundry. Maintain proper inventory of clean and soiled linen. Follow hygiene and fabric care standards to extend linen life.

4. Inventory and Stock Control



Keep track of housekeeping supplies and cleaning materials. Refill cleaning trolleys and storage areas daily. Inform supervisors about low stock levels or requisition needs.

5. Health, Safety, and Hygiene



Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Maintain hygiene standards as per hotel and government regulations. Dispose of waste responsibly and follow recycling guidelines.

6. Guest Service



Greet guests politely and assist them with requests (extra towels, pillows, etc.). Handle guest belongings with care and maintain confidentiality. Report lost and found items immediately as per hotel policy.

7. Coordination and Communication



Coordinate with the

Front Office

for room status updates (vacant, occupied, DND, etc.). Liaise with the

Maintenance

team for repair requirements. Attend daily briefings and update supervisors on completed tasks.

8. Quality and Standard Maintenance



Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cleaning and inspection. Ensure rooms and public areas meet brand quality and presentation standards. Participate in regular training sessions for skill and service improvement.

9. Teamwork and Supervision (for Senior Roles)



Supervise Room Attendants and assign daily tasks. Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met. Assist in training new team members and maintaining team discipline.

10. Other Responsibilities



Support special cleaning projects (deep cleaning, spring cleaning, etc.). Maintain housekeeping records (lost & found, room checklists, maintenance logs). Ensure personal grooming and uniform standards are followed at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
