Job Summary

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation throughout guest rooms and public areas. In a 5-star hotel environment, this role is essential in delivering exceptional guest experiences through attention to detail, discretion, and personalized service.

Key Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, and prepare guest rooms, suites, and bathrooms according to 5-star hotel standards Make beds, change linens, replenish amenities, towels, and guest supplies Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and safety concerns; report findings promptly Maintain cleanliness of public areas including corridors, elevators, lobbies, and service areas as assigned Respond courteously and promptly to guest requests and special preferences Handle guest belongings with care and maintain strict confidentiality and security standards Follow proper procedures for lost and found items Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently Adhere to hotel policies, brand standards, and health & safety regulations Work collaboratively with front office, engineering, and laundry teams to ensure seamless service Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous housekeeping experience in a luxury or 5-star hotel is an advantage Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good communication and interpersonal skills Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment Ability to follow instructions and hotel service standards precisely Physically fit and able to stand, walk, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks
