Key Responsibilities of the Housekeeping Associate

Supports the smooth running of the Housekeeping department, ensuring all guest areas and back-of-house areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation Works as part of a team to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, responding positively and promptly to guest requests Takes ownership of assigned duties and tasks, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and professionally Delivers on departmental plans and objectives, supporting hotel initiatives and service targets Collaborates with the immediate supervisor to control costs, manage linen and inventory, and achieve productivity standards Builds and maintains effective working relationships while promoting the company culture and values Ensures compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, following best practices and documentation requirements for audits

Requirements of the Housekeeping Associate

Prior experience in housekeeping is an advantage but not essential Hands-on approach with a positive, can-do attitude Strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and hospitality excellence Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently when required High personal integrity and the ability to work in an environment that values quality and attention to detail Basic knowledge of IT systems or housekeeping applications is an advantage Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
