Job Description

Cleaning:

Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors in guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.

Sanitizing:

Clean and disinfect bathrooms, fixtures, and surfaces using appropriate chemicals and equipment.

Bed and bath preparation:

Change bed linens and make beds neatly. Fold and replace towels and other bath linens.

Restocking:

Replenish guest amenities, such as soaps, shampoos, toilet paper, and tissues. Restock drinks and food in the mini-bar if applicable.

Waste disposal:

Collect and dispose of all trash and recycling from rooms and public areas.

Laundry:

Manage guest and hotel laundry, which may include collecting, processing, and returning items.

Maintenance and safety:

Report any damages, needed repairs, or safety concerns to management. Ensure all equipment is used safely and stored properly.

Customer service:

Interact with guests in a polite and professional manner, addressing any concerns or requests they may have.

Inventory and organization:

Keep the housekeeping cart stocked, clean, and organized with all necessary supplies and equipment.
