Job Overview

Housekeeping staff are responsible for maintaining hygienic, safe, and orderly environments. Depending on the setting, this might include cleaning rooms, common spaces, laundry, and managing supplies to ensure high cleanliness standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Cleaning & Sanitization

Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish floors, surfaces, furniture, and fixtures. Clean bathrooms, kitchens, guest rooms, and public spaces per standards.

Bedroom & Linen Care

Make beds, change bed linens and towels, arrange rooms, and restock amenities and toiletries.

Laundry & Ironing

Handle washing, drying, folding, and ironing guest or household laundry as needed.

Waste & Inventory Management

Empty waste bins, dispose of trash and recyclables; manage cleaning supplies and report low stock.

Reporting & Minor Maintenance

Promptly report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to supervisors.

Equipment Maintenance & Safety

Use cleaning tools and chemicals safely; maintain equipment in working order; follow health & safety protocols.

Customer Service & Privacy

Engage politely with guests or residents (if hospitality context), honor privacy, and follow confidentiality rules.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
